You should have your passport renewed if it exceeds expiration date or if it is seriously damaged. Passport renewal usually takes about 4-6 weeks. An additional fee can expedite the process.
b. Getting a New Passport:
There are two ways of getting a new passport: ROUTINE and EXPEDITED Service. We strongly encourage the Expedited Service to get your passport on time. There is an additional fee that cost around $60-80. Unlike the routine Service that takes 4-6 weeks. Expedited Service only takes two weeks. Post Offices are popular for processing new passports.

The actual certificate of Degree received upon graduation is what the Korean Immigration requires. A legitimate Diploma is usually signed by the School President, Registrar or College Dean and has a University Seal embossed. Some universities would issue diplomas on the date of graduation while others mostly send it off after a month or two. It would be best to request for one ahead of time if you do not have it at hand.
All schools guarantee on giving back your Diploma upon arrival in Korea.
2 Official and Sealed Transcripts from University
Transcripts are often marked 'official' and handed to the student or sent in a sealed envelope addressed to any particular party. Open Transcripts are prone to pampering and forging. Therefore, keeping them sealed in an envelope is a MUST or will otherwise not be recognized by the Immigration . We encourage you to request atleast two (2) sealed copies of your transcripts. The other copy might be needed for future use such as the Visa Interview. So keep one with you for the case.
Teachers are requested to send 4 passport photos to the assigned recruiter in Korea for visa application purposes. 2 extra passport photos are to be submitted to the Korean Consulate in the Country of Origin for the person to person interview. The Criminal Background Check must be issued within the last 3 months. It must be a STATE LEVEL CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK This process could take 1-2 weeks.
